i don’t disagree with you, the company should try to keep good customers such as yourself. customers who pay on time, who spend a lot. i guess i need to take a deep breath, lol :) so many people call in and want and want and want and all for free of course. at&t shouldn’t have such “set” standards. it should be based more on the individual. guess i was just having a bad ,sorry.

Where I live, we like good customer service and demand satisfaction if a company wants to keep our business. Welcome to America and what drives companies to provide good customer service and offer great benefits over the competition in order to keep your business.

I do not want a full discount when it pleases me. They do not even have to do anything if they so wish. It’s up to them. I was just giving them the opportunity to keep the business of someone that has been with them for over 5 years, spends over $180.00 a month on their cell phone bill. It is up to them.

you are right, it’s not a “cheap” phone but you basically want a full discount when it pleases you. they have to set a limit somewhere and this actually started before at&t took over. too many people demanding new phones within a few months to a year after getting a full discount. at&t looks at your history and monthly service and offers an upgrade before the 2 years based on those factors. the same holds true for most companies. sorry you feel this way.

I have been trying to have the navigation button replaced because the rubber started to come loose and now the button it missing. ( I have a Slvr), I called the warranty number, and was told that a button was not covered because it is concidered physical damage. How can a button be considered physical damage..thats ridiculious! I say its a manufactor’s defect. If it was built well, the damn button wouldnt have fell off in the first place.

actually , it is still cingular… i do understand your pain. I am a cust service rep who has been with the combo of companies for the last 4.5 yrs, i started with AT&T wireless then to a cingular rep , and now back to the new at&t. honestly the only thing that changed was the name, and that was to make it more unified with landline ect. now as far as the except they offered you 1yr$/2yr cont that was actually a cingular rule that is now no longer an option.
