   Mark, What’s the latest news on YTB? I know they are crumbling and scrambling to try and stay alive. They are trying to initiate a new marketing campaign with CD’s that cost a dollar to recruit “suckers” into their scheme.
   Sadly, 80% of the people that got involved in YTB lost their money and didn’t make a penny. The “fat cats” at the top will soon pay for all the lies they have told to all of their downline when the company gets sued and no longer exists.

   I have made a very good living doing this, and I will continue to make a very good living (my numbers have more than doubled every year). Not only in income, but in lifestyle as well. (I prefer to keep the exact amount private). You can check out YTB’s own income disclosure to see how much their reps make (or don’t make). There is really no comparision. What I do is completely different from the YTB business model. My business is not mlm or network marketing. It is leisure group travel.

   Mark, thx 4 the info! I recently was contacted by reps from YTB Travel who wanted me to participate in a conference call an hour and a half later, but I had to check out their website 1st. After seeing the video and the RTA fee of almost $500 (!), I did more investigating. My investigations eventually led me to your page, which has made my decision to not get involved w/YTB more sound. Thanks again!

   YTB posted their third quarter financials with the SEC this week. Not good. The are losing reps, and selling assets. Profits are down 87.5% even after laying off employees. This is probably the result of the current economy and the fall out effect of the lawsuits for being an illegal pyramid. That never helps recruiting.

   thanks for the info ..i should have watched your video before i sign up.now i’m $500 dollar poorer.some of my friends bought tickets on my website but YTB only give me a $10 commission only after i called them.they **** my hard earned money

    I am going to venture that an individual person who has joined YTB hired you, not the actual company. By pulling up their “Can Do It Travel” website, they have their own travel site. Therefore they are not a subsidary but instead an individual site owner (RTA). Such, you will not be suing YTB but instead that individual.

    Mark,

    I was in YTB for a year and a half. Built up a decent size Team, but spent way more than I made. I jumped ship because so many reps are bailing out. I laugh, to think at this point that anyone getting in YTB now will make it to director. I know of one level 1 director that works his but off just to stay around the 500 mark. He has to get as many people as he can because he is losing the more people than he’s getting in. YTB hype at first, now YTB is going to fizzle-out. Keep it up!

    Yes. They are a “subsidiary” of YTB. i.e. a travel store.

    After providing 3 months of marketing and web work,for Can Do It Travel this group decided to ignore my voice mails, my emails, and other attempts to contact them, as well as disabling access to their website as soon as they got what they wanted. I’m out over $2000.00 and I am filing in Small Claims court to try and recoup what is owed.

    Bottom line is they lied, they cheated, and they stole from me.

    Payback is gonna be a BIG *****!!!

    OK….. We now believe the fact that you are actually high. What do you make of all the lawsuits? Why do you think that the Attorney General wants to shut down YTB for being an illegal pyramid? What about the TV news pieces about YTB Customers being ripped off?? What about the 90 complaints to the BBB in Missouri (not to mention other states)??? Selling ***** makes money…. does that make it legal? Does that make it a good thing to do? And what about spelling?

    Yeah Marky am alway hidh as F**K. But high as i am i found the way to make the money where sober people are struggling. Think bout that. Look at your self you probably sober but you talking **** bout something that its not your business. probably because you had a bad experience. if thats the case then talk bout what you did wrong. Because YTB is right there people booking flights, cruises, Hotels and everything and i havent had a single complain.

    What makes this even more extreme is the fact that this guy is selling off his stock at the lowest price (the stock is at an all time low). What does this guy know that is making him want out of YTB? He is an insider.

    Look man am a YTB agent and most of the things u read about YTB, it comes from people who stared their business with out making plans and most of all because some else was making good money. They suing now cause its not how they though it was gonna be. i stared the business cause i though i could make money and though about it for 3 months and i haven’t had any problems. You dont worry bout your tickets they should be honored you paid for them they will be there.

    Good question. I would contact YTB and ask. I would also contact the airline and check. You should have received a confirmation reservation code. My guess is that you’ll be OK… but better safe than sorry.

    Disappointing news for me. I just bought tickets via YTB on 10/9/2008. Does this mean I can’t get my tickets or that my ticket will not be honored?

    YTB’s bank was shut down by the FDIC for unsafe practices on Friday October 10, 2008.

    It was announced two weeks ago that one of the major share holders and principals in YTB is trying to sell off $4 million dollars of stock. This is never a good sign. The key people are bailing out.
