You have major problems with communication.

    “does people”? “live in-land” ????????

Obviously, there is no empirical evidence to give a solid answer. But, when you get to look at the ocean, experience the ionization of the air due to the water which is proven to better the body and mind, have most pollution blown inland and not hoovering above you, a better quality of life is the result.

Moving from the Pacific North West to Houston has been horrible. Not because Houston is a bad place, but because I miss going to and looking at the ocean and the fresh air. It truly has affected me and my personhood.

So, in short.. the more mother nature you can get, the better! And, people who feel the same vote the same apparently. Maybe they are happier or sadder? You tell me!

I was going to answer this with: What MaxPower said!…..but, poor Max who left God’s country for Houston is depressed, and I understand. I don’t know how people in Houston keep from getting moldy, with all of that rain and heat! I live near Los Angeles, which is coastal, I guess and I am a Democrat…born and raised in Detroit, which is Midwest and surrounded by lakes. I guess the fact that we are not all sheeple or clones is why we have different political party affiliations.
