Although being a cash buyer is always a plus, most end up financing it. Negotiate the interest and the cost of the loan after you've negotiated the price as explained in Pt1 & Pt2. They may tell you that the interest is non-negotiable but after accepting to purchase the car & you are ready to close you tell them to leave the contract open for financing because you will get it somewhere else, they will quickly change their minds.
