People keep asking me when I am going to start a family, what is the best reply to this?

I am tired of people always asking me when I am going to have kids, I do want them, but when my partner and I are financially secure and out of debt. I am only 30. I am fed up of people asking and when I reply for this reason, they throw other things at me, such as my time is running out etc. I **** it and am loosing patience. What is a witty retort to this question?

Tell them you are going to get some kids when the price goes down.

Just tell them that you are planning on feezing your eggs because you don’t think you want to have kids until you are in your 50’s. That should shut them up. I know because i have used it, I am 31 and don’t have kids:)

Just say and how is that any of your business? It doesn’t matter what you say those type people just are nosy anyway.

I used this one and it worked for me. “When and if we decide, we’ll be sure to send out announcements to all those people who were rude enough to intrude into such a personal area.”

“I will as soon as I learn how to have ***!”

Tell them you wouldn’t have given it a thought if they hadn’t asked but you will consider it sometime. Best wishes. UK

Just tell them you are trying or working on it.
A brief answer will tell them you are really not interested in discussing it further. That is a very personal question to ask someone.

Incidentally, conception is not the easiest thing in the world for some people. So, it could take some time even when you are ready to begin trying.
