REGARDLESS WHAT THE GOVERNMENT, THE ECONOMISTS AND THE BRANDS SAY - IT IS OUR ABSOLUTE RIGHT TO SAVE RATHER THAN SPEND MONEY.
WE FUNDED THE BOOM, WE FUNDED THE BANK BAILOUT, NOW WE’RE EXPECTED TO FUND THE RECOVERY. BUT WE CANNOT SHOP OUR WAY OUT OF THE LONG TERM PROBLEM: OVER-CONSUMPTION CONTRIBUTES TO ALMOST ALL GLOBAL CHALLENGES.
AS NICE AS OUR LUXURY LIFESTYLES ARE, WE CANNOT RUN AWAY FROM THE PROBLEM FOR MUCH LONGER.

ohh and the girl is pretty hot
lol, I’m a really bad and selfish consumer I guess….hahaha. I don’t care about fashion, or having a cool car, or whatever.

Thanks for the comment. But there’s no mention in the film of corporations being ‘awful’, or out to ‘exploit and deceive’ us.
Delicious BRAVE NEW WORLD reenactment.
Superb image and audio quality.
Great parody aspect too with subtly over-pushing the theme.
Boo-hoo. Let’s not encourage responsible, intelligent consumption. No no, let’s just pretend that corporations are awful and only want to exploit and deceive us.
I think you miss the point. It is not to never buy anything. It is not to buy things that do not work. Quite the opposite: by things that do work, and keep them, rather than crap that must be replaced constantly for no good reason (for example, sleek-looking cars that are always in the shop and can’t take an accident). More importantly, determine what it actually is you want and need rather than buying things for the sake of having something new or “cool”.
Capitalism is not the problem. Greed and stupidity are the problem. Or maybe rather than stupidity, I should say peoples’ insecurity in deciding what they really want.
I’m in love with this video.
I just gotta ask, if I’m ‘worth the money’ how come I ain’t got any? Can’t consume when broke. Peace.
Hello Neil. I was the original poster of your work on Youtube! [leftofleft] I still have that BBC report.
hehe.. this was funny. Ok I’m off to go buy more ****
well that was scary…
racist!!!!!!!!!!!!!! white man still fucking black ******!
So…..I’m guessing YouTube is somehow exempt from this epic.
The really funny part is that purchasing Sams Choice products likely aids the author’s point moreso than buying actual name brands.
Capitalism is the new feudalism. Corporations are king.
but the people _are_ the system, or atleast the ones with the power to control it.
if the world stopped buying form tesco for a month then the company would colapse. unfortunatly major corps. like these have crushed any smaller competition to the point where there is no alternative. if that isn’t a broken system i dont know what is.
its supposed to annoy you. it points out all the flaws in society that everyone has been ignoreing for so long. nothing like shattering a dream to annoy somone.
Have you got any translated version (Spanish version)?
It’s very clear and I want to show it to my friends. Thanks.
I feel like drinking a coke now
I love this video. Have posted it on my Facebook profile and on Twitter.
It’s like anti-hypnosis! Really eye-opening.
WTF WAS THIS VIDEO! it really annoyed me. _-_ (yes it’s suppose to look like that)
Or people like you will fail to allow another person to decent from a single view and give a secondary observation.
Give opinions a chance, ask any high schooler if they think they are unique… Look at the number of times the video has been viewed and tell me its not popular. Simply watching it now proves you wrong.
Oh well, please explain your point without insulting me. I am extending that courtesy to you.
Obviously you were insulted, so I apologize. My comments were directed at your video as suggestions. I doubt, though, they they deserved the response you gave them.
Good luck on your future videos!
amazing video…so very true!
maybe you could try thinking about it rather than have everything spoon fed to you.
