I don’t believe in religion or any God’s. I just wonder if people question their religious belief’s due to suffering some sort of trauma. I suffered from childhood trauma. Was raised Catholic, but didn’t start thinking about things till my early 20’s. I then realized that religion is pretty much a means of keeping people in line and for making money. If you were never told about Christianity, science would make more sense. People believe in God, just because they’ve been told about it their whole lives. I think it takes a smart person without fear to question authority and religious leaders.

I didn’t suffer any trauma. I was raised Catholic. Christianity makes very little sense to me.
Man I agree with you 100% it is brainwashing and every religion does it.
Sure, okay. But now having said that, there are probably about 10 million people who’d like to kill you right now (incl in the USA). Isn’t that ironic?
I’ve always wondered that myself. I don’t believe in giving the 10% of your income to the church, and they push that so hard. I don’t know what to believe really, I’ve been raised Protestant, some of the things the Pastor preaches about really make you wonder.
I believe that everyone is born an atheist. if not, at least agnostic. People are taught to believe in a god, just as children are taught to believe in Santa Claus. So it takes nothing to “become” an atheist or agnostic, it is how we come into this world.
